Champ Nany's philosophy
-
While keeping the existing structure,
divide the huge habitation volume in three apartments in order to
use the units as holiday accomodations for families and singles.
-
Gentle renovation; keep everything
which can still be used. Preserve all features of the more
than 100-year-old original Bresse Longhouse.

The
result
- The entire length of the
house was divided in four elements. Each existing
entry became a door to a
holiday apartment.
The existing opening between the "Hutau" and "Puits"
appartments was closed with a door, so that there is an
option to make two apartments available to a single tenant.
Apartment "Hutau" is suitable for wheelchairs.

And
the next episode?
- The two of us are pleased
to care for our guests for the rest of our working life,
hoping to allow many families enjoying nice holidays.
We want to do our
pricing in such a manner that we can make a living and at
the same time make it possible for the guests to spend
holidays they can afford.
- We would be very pleased
if our little paradise attracted many of you to France, in
order to share with you the fascination of getting to know
the beauties of our new home, the Bresse.
